thought i should post something after a that long time.
what has happened? quite some things, but i now decided to tell you one thing.
i thought, well, once in a livetime one has to have seen a sex show, and amsterdam is definetely the best place to do that in a safe environment. if you wonder where to find it? just ask in a
tourist information center ^^
i was lucky because i attached myself to two american girls who asked and directed us to the right place.
second, i think everybody has to have been in a coffeeshop once... well, i did so thrice ;)
very nice trips i had.... on two of those occasions i was so completely lost... i forgot the concecpt of different languages for instance. then after some time i could remember that there ARE different languages and that the english language is one example of a language.... and i knew that i could speak it... but at that point i was only able to remember two words: "buy" and "sell" though i didnt know what they meant.
my to acompanees were a bit jelaous, because it didnt work that cool for them. one of them always wasnt sure if i made the stuff up i said. i guess i am lucky that that stuff is working so good for me (or am i?).
on one of my trips (which was in one of the "the doors" coffeeshops in amsterdam , i can highly recommend them if you are into 60s psychedelic music) i got in contact with pink floyd.
a thing on pink floyd:
until that day, i never understood pink floyd. i listened to their music, i watched their videos... i just couldnt grasp what it was all about. i also couldnt grasp the "coolness" of their movies. but definetely they were an important band werent they? if they werent, and everything they did was shit, why would they be a sooo important example of a psychedelic band?
now, in that coffeeshop i was trippin and then the guy there said "ya see this movie? ya know what it is? its pink floyd". and i thought : "wow... i never understood pink floyd beforehand.... lets look, now i am tripping, now i have different access to it". and after 3 minutes of watching i knew:
i still dont understand them. i still dont get whats so cool about them. well... but i tried ;)
ok, granted. the pink floyd MUSIC that was played while i was there sounded great while tripping.
so after one week of kicking my braincells out, i got back to vienna.
conclusion: very cool holiday.
not only for looking at prostitutes (man some of them are REALLY pretty!), but also for getting to see a nice city, and getting to see great paintings. (you HAVE to go to the Reiksmuseum and the van gogh museum if you are into arts!).plus i am astonished how SAFE you feel when you walk the streets there at nite.
